Second round of Industrial Dialogues about to start in Valencia

April 3rd 2017 eventsprecision medicineproject meetings

The first series of the SMART-map Industrial Dialogues has been successfully completed: it is now time to compare outcomes from different countries.

On 5-6 April, various actors from the precision medicine field will meet in Valencia to discuss responsible innovation in their sector. The workshop will be hosted by Imegen, the biomedical biotechnological company that is part of the consortium.

The Dialogue will follow the format developed and revised over the course of the previous events. At the end of the two days, participants will propose ideas for a tool to embed responsible innovation in the precision medicine sector. In the next months, these ideas will be compared with those proposed by the Danish participants during the Aarhus Industrial Dialogue. An RRI precision medicine tool will then be selected and tested in pilot industries.

On 7-8 April representatives from the partners of the SMART-map consortium will meet to present results from the first year of the project. The annual meeting will also serve to discuss the methodology to be used to select the tools and the pilot firms that will participate in the next phase of the project.
